EXCLUSIVE: Chinese Communist Party Funded 2024 Pro-Hamas Protests, Intelligence Source Claims

Anti-Israel protests that took over city streets and college campuses in 2024 were reportedly fueled by organizations linked to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), with financial backing from CCP-affiliated groups, according to a source who spoke exclusively with our Investigative Research team.

The wave of demonstrations began even before Israel launched its military response to 2023’s October 7th Hamas attack, which triggered an ongoing conflict between Israel and several of its neighboring countries. Progressive groups quickly mobilized, using social media and public demonstrations to express solidarity with Hamas, while condemning Israel as an illegitimate occupying force that somehow deserved the violence unleashed on that fateful day.

As the full scale of the attack on Israel was still unfolding, chapters of Black Lives Matter (BLM) in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. issued statements defending Hamas’s violent actions. BLM Grassroots Los Angeles, for example, characterized Hamas’s brutality as an act of self-defense, urging that it be understood, not condemned. Meanwhile, BLM Chicago drew widespread outrage by sharing an image of a Hamas fighter on a paraglider—a reference to the tactic used by terrorists to infiltrate Israeli borders and massacre civilians—solidifying their apparent support for Gaza’s Hamas-led government.

In addition to BLM’s public support for Hamas, a national wave of anti-Israel protests ignited throughout American cities, and on college campuses — led by a coalition of Islamists and progressive organizations.  This disturbing reaction was framed by these groups as an endorsement of “resistance”, presenting Hamas as legitimate freedom fighters against the occupying presence of the only Jewish state in the middle east.

After Israel’s military response resulted in a leveled Gaza skyline and mass casualties, the intensity of anti-Israel sentiments only heightened, with Israel incessantly opposed as a genocidal “apartheid state”.  The American government was also largely condemned for its support of Israel, accused of complicity in a supposed genocide.

Chants of “from the river to the sea” became the rallying cry heard from the megaphones of keffiyeh wearing masked “anti-fascists” across the country; particularly on university campuses, where well-coordinated protests resulted in class cancellations, lockdowns, hall occupations, vandalism, and property damage to the tune of millions of dollars.

According to our source, who wishes to remain anonymous, Chinese influence and material support played a major role in these protests and disruptions.

“The primary organizations behind the ‘free Gaza’ movement are communist groups, and openly promote the CCP,” our source told us. “Several of these progressive organizations take to the streets as CCP evangelists, openly promoting the Chinese government and trashing America, when they aren’t organizing anti-Israel disturbances,” they told us.

Our source, who is linked to intelligence efforts that tracked the players and foreign connections within the “free-Gaza” protest movement, claims that the CCP funneled money into these protests while using proxy activists to create chaos. ”

“China is less interested in middle east political and religious conflicts and more interested in weakening the social fabric of America, who they see as their biggest threat,” our source claims. “The CCP seizes upon the sentiments of the progressive left. Not only is the American far-left Marxist in ideology, but they have deep seeded hatred for America, who they view as capitalist aggressors. These people are perfect collaborators for China, who want to win a propaganda war and, ultimately, become the undisputed world-leader,” our source explained.

China is merely one of many foreign players, according to our source – along with Qatar and Iran.  This foreign funding of anti-Israel propaganda was compared, by our source, to the now-defunct U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), which once funneled billions into social engineering programs and overseas conflicts. According to our source, China has mastered the art of propaganda, strategically backing these protests as part of a broader anti-capitalist, anti-West influence campaign.

The source revealed that certain individuals within progressive, pro-Palestinian groups often travel to China to meet with Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials, where they receive financial kickbacks for promoting pro-China narratives in the US. These funds, the source claims, are funneled through a complex network of NGOs and companies. Additionally, China has invested heavily in Hollywood and the music industry, producing anti-American and pro-communist content for American audiences. The influence, they argue, runs far deeper than campus protests.

Progressive organizations in New York have reportedly hosted CCP officials at communist party celebrations, and some activists involved in these movements have offices located within CCP owned buildings, in China.

“My hope is that the current administration takes stronger action to expose and address this issue,” our source said. “We’ve seen the end of American-funded foreign intervention and propaganda; now it’s time to put a stop to China’s influence in America. If not, American communists will continue using issues like Gaza, racism, and human rights as tools to advance China’s interests, which could have devastating consequences.”
