iResearch Weekly has obtained exclusive footage of a protest in Manhattan that saw pro-Hamas activists clash with pro-Israel demonstrators. Our investigative team was on-location for the protest which took place on Saturday, February 8th, at The People’s Forum on West 37th Street in Manhattan.
MANHATTAN, New York — The disagreement arose after an online post promoting an Intifada event hosted by Columbia University’s Apartheid Divest group (CUAD) and the Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM) featured an image of what appeared to be a knife, accompanied by a chilling caption:
“Want to learn how to un-live [sic] Jews? Head to St Mary’s Episcopal Church in Harlem NYC, this weekend!”, the online flyer read.

The post was promoting an event titled “The First Intifada and Mass Organizing,” which was initially scheduled to take place at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Harlem. In response to public outrage, the event was moved to The People’s Forum on West 37th, where the venue’s doors were secured, allowing only registered attendees to enter.
As the event began, a crowd of pro-Israel, anti-communist protestors began to gather on the street outside of the location. The group included clergy, IDF military personnel, and both Jewish and non-Jewish residents. Shai Daivadi, a professor at Columbia, was also in attendance and was removed by NYPD due to increased tensions.
Due to the impassioned exchanges, the police were called to the scene. After the event concluded and attendees began spilling into the street, verbal insults were traded as police barricaded the protestors away from their opponents. The protestors, many wearing Make America Great Again hats and waving American and Israeli flags, refused to back down, demanding that the event and its organizers be investigated for inciting violence and murder.
Although things got heated between the two sides, no injuries were reported.
Antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiments have becoming increasingly popular on both ends of the political spectrum, since the October 7th Hamas attack on Israel. The brazen call for violence, as seen in the promotion of this CUAD and PYM event, however, is beyond outrageous.
Columbia University has stated that CUAD is not “recognized, authorized, or supported” by the institution, adding that the University rejects “materials that glorify violence.”
